I'll move the articulating arm forward in my next video, to see how well that does. This time, the arm was set too far back and the field of view showed more of the cabin area than what I wanted. It was overcast and the camera was in a darkened cabin area in this test. Easy fix to make. I had some loose items in the rear of the car that made some noises as they rolled about. The camera was loose inside the plastic case and had an annoying camera rattle during the video. I have an easy fix for that, so no problem with noise once I fix it. This was just random video of a quick trip to the boat dock. Nothing special to view, but I just wanted to check out the camera placement. The HERO 960 camera does not have an led viewer to see if the field of vision is correct, so I have to shoot some video and download it to see if I like it or not. A real pain, but I am too cheap to swing for buying a higher end GoPro and I like the simplicity of my 960, anyway. I may hook this same headrest mount onto the rear seat and see what the results are from back there. However, lighting can be an issue for the GoPro or any action camera, so I am not sure if I'd like that or not. I met some new Kia Soul Base owners at the boat dock. They enjoyed their Soul very much, too. Our's is the molten and their's was the Dune color. Nice to see other Soul owners out and about.
