This is a HDTV mounted by Hifi Install in Austin, TX. The TV is a 55" Sony. We used a dual arm articulating wall mount that extends away from the wall for a large viewing field.     I thought it is not safe to mount an lcd tv on a fire place. But now when I know it is I too will get my home theater installed near fireplace. Just have to look for some home theater installers in austin, texas. http://texashomemedia.com/
